Diagnosis and Planning

Detailed clinical evaluation, supported by radiographs and CT scans to analyse bone structure. An individual treatment plan is created, including any necessary extractions or prior bone grafting.

Phase 02

Surgery and Osseointegration

Surgical placement of the titanium implant into the jawbone, under local anaesthesia. This is followed by a healing period of 3 to 6 months, during which the bone naturally integrates with the implant.

Phase 03

Prosthetic Restoration

After osseointegration, impressions are taken for the final crown. The finished piece is fixed onto the implant, restoring chewing function and aesthetics similar to a natural tooth.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about dental implants

Is the surgery painful?

No. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and most patients report less discomfort than a tooth extraction. In the first 24–48 hours there may be mild swelling, controlled with medication.

How long do implants last?

With proper oral hygiene and regular check-ups, implants have success rates above 95% and can last decades. Clinical studies show longevity of 20+ years under normal conditions.

Can I have an implant if I have little bone?

Yes, in many cases. When bone volume is insufficient, bone grafting or sinus lift procedures can be used before (or alongside) implant placement.

Can I have implants if I have diabetes or another condition?

Generally yes, provided the condition is well-controlled. The initial evaluation includes a review of your medical history to confirm feasibility.

Do I need to remove the implant to clean it?

No. The implant and crown function just like a natural tooth — daily brushing and flossing are all that's needed. Regular professional check-ups every six months are essential for long-term success.
